Some of our own influencers attest to the authenticity of Instagram Live, seeing solid engagement when sharing behind the scenes and interacting with commenters in real time.
While many influencers are using Instagram Live to promote brand partnerships, it still maintains authenticity, helping to keep a sponsored post from “feeling” sponsored. When viewers see an influencer using a brand’s product in real time, it feels less like product placement and more like a day in the life of the influencer.
Instagram is already such a powerhouse for influencers. “We recently polled our community and Instagram came out on top as the platform that is most important for their personal brands (30%),” says Ali Kirby.
There is already a significant viewership on Instagram, so it only makes sense that influencers embrace features like Instagram Live, as well as Carousel Albums, for branded content as well as non-branded content.
