While achieving all of the exposure your brand will gain from a social media campaign is nice, it’s only the beginning. From the moment your campaign launched, you began building your own personal library of content on your business that YOU can optimize well past the campaign end date.
Here are a few ways that you can optimize your social media campaign, in order to get the most bang for your buck!
Create a Pinterest Board on your brand’s Pinterest account, and be sure to pin all of the content that you love throughout your campaign. This will allow you to have this content stored in one convenient place that you can reference anytime you would like, and leverage accordingly! It also allows your target audience to browse other content about your brand that they may find interesting!
While this may sound like a no brainer, not everyone is aware that they can (and should) share the content produced via their social media campaign to their brands social media pages. This is very important as it allows you to maintain your connection with your current followers, while gaining new ones at the same time.
Be sure that you are commenting on and engaging with the social media content shared throughout your campaign. It’s kind of like a party, you can either hop on the floor and dance… or be the flower on the wall. Don’t be the flower on the wall for your campaign. Search for the hashtag associated with your social media campaign and get in on the conversation. This will build a more personal relationship with your target audience.
This is one that may be often overlooked. Once you’ve shared the content that you like… it doesn’t have to end there. Be sure to schedule out additional content for the future over your various social media network. This will allow the campaign to continue driving traffic to your brand, long after it ends.
Creating a collage of your favorite images from your social media campaign is an awesome way to make use of this content! You can share this collage on your brand’s page, a separate landing page, and even connect it with a contest or promotion if you like!
Following these tips will help you to get the most “bang for your buck” from your social media campaign, as well as add to the positive image and relationship your brand has with both the target audience and its promoters.
