The blogging industry is booming with millions of blogs existing on the web. A vast majority of these bloggers are those that would fall under the category of “mommy bloggers.” While the term “mommy blogger” may stir up negative connotations to some, it only begins to scratch the surface of the variety of bloggers that are out there.

There is so much more to bloggers than cute pictures of their kids and product reviews. Many bloggers who once would have been categorized as a mommy blogger have broken through and expanded their focus on other areas like lifestyle, fashion, DIY, and even finance. There are many influential bloggers who have crossed over the mommy blogger line and are proving how valuable they are to brands.

Below are 7 bloggers who are breaking through to the other side and redefining the term “mommy blogger.”

Dream Book Design is a DIY home design and parenting blog. Adrianne and her husband started their blog journey by fixing up their old 1950s home DIY style, and have moved on to a second home and now professionally flip homes.
